About St. Francis Yacht Club

Founded in 1927, the St. Francis Yacht Club (StFYC) has established itself as one of the most prestigious yacht clubs in the United States. Located at the edge of San Francisco Bay with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and the Marin Headlands, the club enjoys one of the most scenic settings in the world of yachting.

The St. Francis Yacht Club has a rich racing heritage, having produced multiple Olympic medalists, world champions, and America's Cup competitors. The club hosts over 40 regattas annually on San Francisco Bay's challenging waters, including the renowned Rolex Big Boat Series, which has been called the 'West Coast's premier regatta' since its inception in 1964.

With state-of-the-art facilities, the StFYC offers members an elegant clubhouse with fine dining, extensive racing and cruising programs, and a vibrant social calendar. The club's junior sailing program is recognized as one of the best in the country, fostering the next generation of accomplished sailors.
